Dina Sarhane
Dina Sarhane is an architect and urban designer working at the cross-section of personal practice and academia in the disciplines of urban design and architecture. Having lived across four continents, Dina founded DS Studio to exercise her research and observations on how diverse cultures use shared spaces to engage in community life. She currently teaches at the University of Toronto, and is the principal of DS Studio where her repertoire of work includes urban space and infrastructure, hospitality, residential, commercial spaces and public art. Educated at Carleton University (B.Arch, 2006) and the University of Toronto (M.Arch, 2012); she produced an award winning thesis on urban design strategies, which blend interior and exterior space in dense urban centers.
