Power Flagship
For Power athletic, owned by Bata, the Indian market boom provided an opportunity to rapidly expand the brand’s retail locations, launching 100 stores nationwide over the course of 2019. In order to implement this growth, a modular kit of parts was devised, including finishes, features, furniture/fixtures and lighting, all of which plug into a grid, enabling innovative spatial designs to be installed at each new location without complicating construction or manufacturing. The plug and play system was designed using a variety of sharp geometric displays made with wood, metal and concrete which highlight the brands high performance and durable qualities, while utilizing materials that are easy for local trades people to work with.
